Since 2001, she has carried out research and innovation activities within the footwear sector and its components, specifically in the field of characterization of leather and other materials, actively participating in R&D&I projects financed by regional, national and international organizations. international. In addition, she is the author of several scientific-technical articles published in prestigious national and international journals.

Since 2012, she has been working as a technical expert in several national (AEN 59), European (CEN / TC 289) and international (ISO / TC 120) Standardization Committees on leather and footwear issues.

Other activities that she performs at INESCOP are: technical advice to companies, study of the causes of alterations in footwear, development of new test methods, activities related to the certification of footwear for professional use, and training.

My experience as a teacher is more than 1100 hours in different types of courses on materials, tanning and textiles at a national and international level, organized by INESCOP and other entities.
