I have carried out research stays at the CHUM Research Center (Hospital Center of the University of Montreal) and a postdoctoral stay at the Department of Tissue Engineering at CIEMAT (Energy and Technology Research Center) (Madrid).
For 15 years I have been working in areas related to the in vitro evaluation of substances, microbiology applied to the footwear sector, as well as the evaluation of the biodegradation of footwear components at the INESCOP Biotechnology Laboratory.
At INESCOP I carry out laboratory tests related to cytotoxicity and biocompatibility, microbiological tests on footwear components and biodegradation tests. In addition, I work in the preparation, participation and execution of R+D+i projects at European, national and regional level.
My teaching experience is part of courses and seminars on antimicrobial materials and cytotoxicity.
